Patio Home Rezoning. Neighbours within 60m of Patio Home Bldg. A 13803-109 Ave have received notification of rezoning from DC2 to RA7. This provides a potential for an increase in development as the minimum # of suites for an RA7 is 45 dwellings. Regency has submitted a rezoning application for all 4 Patio Homes, although the only one up for development right now is Bldg. A. Should you wish to weigh in on this development, either in support or in opposition, the contact is ...Rezoning Officer Andrew Mclellan. [email protected]. 780-496-2939. In this instance the developer is merely required to meet the requirements of the bylaw for an R7A zone which can be found here https://webdocs.edmonton.ca//210_(RA7)_Low_Rise_Apartment_ The City will have additional information posted on their website w/in 10 days at edmonton.ca/planningapplications. The deadline for comments is end of January. This is somewhat complicated by the City's proposal to tinker with the existing overarching bylaw 12800, which goes to City Council on January 26. And if the proposed amendments to bylaw 12800 are approved, it could provide additional development options to Regency.

Have a look at the new restrictions for our Outdoor Rink. Same as those posted at the Rink Shack. Sticks and pucks okay, but no shinny, hockey or keepaway. Must remain socially distanced from those not in your cohort. https://mailchi.mp/0d5e2a64e49d/ice-rink-update-december8

December 20th @ 7 pm - Free Yoga Nidra Relaxation Class from /north Glenora instructor, Jacqueline Dorchester FEELING STRESSED OUT? Let me help with a FREE yoga nidra relaxation class. No strings attached. It is my Christmas gift to my fellow humans.... When? Sunday, Dec. 20, 7 8 pm MDT What is yoga nidra? It is a guided relaxation practice. No prerequisites required. It is simple and accessible. All you need to do is close your eyes and choose to remain awake, aware and still while you follow my instructions. Traditionally yoga nidra is done lying on your back, but it can be done lying in a different position or sitting. The important thing is to make yourself comfortable. Preparing Give yourself the best chance to relax and enjoy: - Sign on 10 15 minutes before class begins to deal with the technology and ensure you are ready to go when the class begins. - Find a place where you feel safe, comfortable and will not be interrupted, - If there are any phones in ear shot, ensure they are turned off or placed on silent, - Make sure you have the layers you need to be warm, - Have any props you need to be comfortable lying down or seated, - Given that this class is at night, I recommend you not practice in complete darkness but rather find some soft light that allows you to relax and also invites you to remain aware How to join the class (hosted via Zoom) https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86152462869 MEETING ID: 861 5246 2869 PASSCODE: 009432 Please note: My license allows me to host 99 people, so it is first come, first serve.
