***HAPPY TALES*** Hi there! Just wanted to share a few pics of our sweet cats Exponent and Square Root...it’s just about a year exactly since we adopted these sweethearts!! They have brought our entire family so much joy, especially during this crazy year!! We have so many people in our family so they are rarely alone. They tolerate being picked up countless times per day by so many people...they are very patient kitties haha!! Square Root is definitely the more rambunctious of the pair...but Exponent is a bit more snuggly!! They love lots of different kinds of soft food which we are lucky to get often as one of our daughters now works at a Pet Valu in Brampton and LOVES IT!! Thank you again so much and thanks again to the best foster parents ever!!

*** HAPPY TALES *** I just wanted to thank the NHKR so much for all their self-less work, love and effort they put into saving, fostering and finding all these wonderful kittens their new forever homes. Neo (formally known as Popsicle from the ‘Frozen Treat Litter’) has brought so much love and joy into my life. He is now over 6 months old and is quite the little character. He follows me around everywhere I go, watches me get ready and sleeps with me every night. Neo is quite the purr machine, enjoys pets and cuddles and he loves to play in my curtains. It is also not uncommon to find his favorite toys in his water/food bowls. It is quite funny. Thanks again NHKR!

***Happy Tales*** Hello North Halton Kitten Rescue! I hope everything is well there and all the cats are doing well, hopefully finding their forever homes even in these trying times. My name is Jamie, seven years ago my family adopted a cat from one of your kitten adoption pop ups in the Pet Valu here in Georgetown. I don't know if anyone still working there remembers her, but her name is Lancome and she's quite the rambunctious one. She was 4 months old (give or take) when w...e adopted her and she's seven years old now. The time has really flown by, it seems. Anyway, it's her adoption day coming up (December 14th) and on behalf of my family I thought I'd shoot a quick thank you for bringing her into our lives. I thought maybe your team would like some photos of her to see how she's doing after all this time so I've attached a few photos. I was scrolling through your website the other day and thought it might be nice to reach out and let you know how one of your old felines was doing. She's really feisty and a force to be reckoned with, but we love her lots. Have a great day! See more

***HAPPY TALES*** We adopted Oahu (now Nala) and Maui (kept her name) in September and we couldn’t be more in love with them! They are both such loving, fun, spunky and cuddly little girls who have completed our family. They are unbelievably patient with our 8 and 11 year olds, withstanding showers of cuddles and kisses. They are SO playful, loving their springs, feathers, mice, and most of all wrestling each other, culminating usually in a nap and/or grooming session togeth...er. Nala (Oahu) is definitely the more adventurous one; she’s athletic, can jump onto just about anything and is a little daredevil, preferring to walk on the outside of the spindles up (or down) the stair case. She’s also very vocal and isn’t shy about letting you know when she has something to say! Maui is definitely the more cuddly one, and has discovered that if she meows and paws at me while I’m working that I’ll pick her up, providing her a good sleeping spot on my lap. She’s working on finding her voice and surprises us with her bouts of talking every now and again. Thank you for letting us adopt them, we couldn’t be more thrilled with how they’ve settled in and we can’t imagine our life without them.
