A little part of the future history of Grand Manan Island was dropped off today! This is a cutoff portion of the new undersea cable currently being installed for NB Power. This cable will supply mainland power for our beautiful isle. Alexander was the German gentleman that was the project manager for this important project. The second photo is a stock photo found online of the complete cross section of an undersea cable.

Beautiful weather abounds! And you have the island almost to yourself! Theres still plenty of summer left! Come visit!
