Yesterday was a whirlwind! Vince's Market Uxbridge stopped by to deliver food items from their #SupportOurShelters Fundraiser. With donations totaling $2000 at the Uxbridge location, Vince’s was able to supply all this amazing food to people in need. North House is happy to say 40 households were supplied with a fresh food boxes yesterday and 20 more will be delivered later in the week. 60 Households in total in our community! Our Food Box Program has come to an end. This amazing program started during COVID isolation, delivering food to North Durham residents most at risk. Since April we were able to provide 336 food boxes to our community residents. We could not have done it alone! Thank you to all of our community partners and local businesses.
