2020 Work Hard Play Hard! #2020 #yearinreview #workhardplayhard

North of the Creek Carpentry 25.01.2021

2020 is over! What a year it has been. These pictures show our biggest achievements of 2020 and yes that kitchen is inside of that house. . This was the biggest challenge the boys and I have faced when it comes to a renovation. Definitely more work then originally planned and took longer than expected. .... Completed just in time for Christmas for two well deserving people after living through a years worth of renovations. (more finished pics to come) #kitchendesign #farmhouse @ Rural Municipality of Marriott No. 317

A little paint goes along way. . I can’t all the credit for this one. The homeowners did the hard part of painting. We just did the prep work of sanding and putting down the flooring on the landings. . Nice improvement for and old set of stairs. ... . One many changes in this old house. #staircase #farmhouse See more

Flooring is complete! Along with these stairs from the porch to the main floor. . Lots of cutting and PL (glue) and few well placed nails!! Still some cleanup and file the corners down. ... . But I’m happy and so are they. #flooring #stairs @ Rural Municipality of Marriott No. 317 See more

Problem (left) Solution (right) The beam was to long cover in one continuous piece so I needed something to cover up the seam. Had my Steel Fabricator make this strap up. Think it goes nicely with the rustic beams #barnbeam #rusticdecor

Floating Mantle This wood has been part of this house since it was built over 100yrs ago. . Up until recently it was hiding in the basement holding up the floors!! We removed 2 of these 6x6 Fir posts and replaced with modern steel posts. ... Instead of tossing them I had an idea to repurpose them. . Few passes through the planer bit of sanding and slap some finish on and Done! @ Rural Municipality of Marriott No. 317 See more
