North Perth Family Health Team Part-time Registered Nurse Recruitment: Located in northern Perth County in Southwestern Ontario, the North Perth Family Health Team is a progressive team of health professionals with an integrated approach to healthcare. Our office is located in Listowel, in a newly erected, state of the art facility. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong commitment and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting in a part-ti...me capacity (0.6 FTE). Position Summary: The RN will function in close collaboration with physicians and allied health care professionals within the Family Health Team (FHT). As a vital member of the patient-focused team, the part-time RN will provide primary care services in a nurse-led triage services. The services provided include such activities as allergy shots, suture and staple removal, travel immunizations, and assessments such as UTIs and throat infections. The scope of practice of the RN will follow the guidelines published by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Qualifications: Qualifications for this position will include: Current registration with the College of Nurses in Ontario in. The ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. Experience in chronic disease management and primary health care Willingness to work in a collaborative practice setting with other allied health professionals. Have previous experience in working with patients and groups of patients.
