Here is a feel-good story for your Monday! This year to try to make Christmas extra special for our residents, we are having a unit decorating contest where the staff and residents work together to decorate the units. One of our staff members was out buying decorations last week with her budgeted money and with a cart full of Christmas decorations, a lady asked her where she would be decorating. Our employee told her that she was decorating at a nursing home. The lady then to...ld her she would like to pay for all the decorations as a donation to the nursing home! This is the true spirit of Christmas and what Christmas is really all about! Thank you so much to this kind stranger for making our residents’ holiday that much more special in these trying times; we are forever grateful. We can’t wait to share the results of our contest with you all next week! See more
