Happy Mother’s Day

Self Care Sunday ~ I read this poem years and years ago and it has been my mantra for everything I do; for the way I approach life ~ work and home. Since focusing on this path I have felt more free and happier. To be honest I get sucked back into the more common narrative that we need more to be happy all the time but when I check back in with myself and recenter it always brings me more joy.

Self Care Sunday ~ reach out. This lockdown is hard. I feel like I say that every lock down guess each one feels harder than the last. This time around we are burnt out, pushed to our limits, but we are all feeling it so reach out. I promise you the person you are reaching out to needs it. Even just a quick check in to feel normal. If you are doing ok reach out to someone with more on their plate than you have. If you are struggling reach out to someone in the same position. They need you and in the end you probably need them too
