WEDNESDAY WORD: This past Sunday, Pastor Glenda spoke on the Apostle's Creed, and how we believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten son, OUR LORD! In this we declare the hope of the gospel, and the centrality of our faith! In spite of our brokenness, and despite our faults, God sent his son to die in our place, and to bear the consequence of sin (our mistakes). That's the hope of the entirety of God's word. Since the beginning, God has ALWAYS desired to be in relationship... with US. Through Christ that relationship is made possible! Through Christ, and because of Christ, we can be brought back into relationship with God our Creator. He takes our place, and takes on the consequence of our disobedience. He suffers so we don't have to. Because of Jesus Christ, we are able to be brought into right relationship with God- that which he has always longed for! That itself is good news! #church #truth #scripture

May we lean in to discern what it is we as a Church are called to do to address these injustices! Have a listen to our International leader, General Brian Peddle, and his Scripture focused message.

In case you missed it, yesterday was the day set apart to recognize and raise awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. As a Church called to fight for justice, one of the first things we can do is become aware of that injustice that exists around us. We invite you to learn more about this injustice.
