REMINDER: NSMHA is pleased to announce that the AGM to wrap up the 2020-2021 season will be held on Wednesday May, 12, 2021 at 7pm upstairs at the North Rustico Lions Club. We invite all association member to attend. As part of the AGM we will celebrating our graduating U18 players, presenting annual awards and electing Executive positions. Mid-Isle Matrix Coaching Applications - 2021/2022 Season At this time, the Mid-Isle Matrix Association is accepting coaching applications for the 2021/2022 season. Coaching applications are being accepted for various positions for all divisions. Positions: Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Goalie Coach ... Divisions: U11, U13, U15 and U18 If you are interested in a coaching position with the Mid-Isle Matrix Association please complete the following form below (see link) which is directly submitted to the Chair of the Mid-Isle Matrix Association. We ask that all applications are submitted by Friday May 21, 2021. Applications will be reviewed by the Matrix Association Board of Directors. Mid-Isle Matrix Annual General Meeting The Mid-Isle Matrix will be holding their AGM on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, 7:00 - 9:00pm @ at the North Rustico Lions Club (upstairs banquet hall), 17 Timber Lane, North Rustico, PE. Due to CPHO guidelines the number of participants will be limited to 50. Please register in advance by emailing Tracey MacEwen, ([email protected])... The Mid-Isle Matrix board will make sure all documents and meeting minutes are shared after the AGM for anyone unable to attend.

Mid-Isle Matrix U15 AAA Spring Conditioning Camp The Mid-Isle Matrix Association will be hosting a U15 AAA Spring Conditioning Camp that will be held at the BellAliant Centre in Charlottetown on Saturday, May 8th and at the APM Centre in Cornwall on Sunday, May 9th. The camp will be open to 2007 and 2008 born players in the Kensington, Rustico, Southside and North River Associations. Cost will be $30 per player. Schedule is as follows: Saturday, May 8th @ BellAliant Centre... Charlottetown - 7:00pm or 8:15pm Sunday, May 9th @ APM Centre Cornwall - 8:30am or 9:40am Please note that the above schedule is based on 2 groups for each day. Ice times are subject to change slightly depending on registrations. There is a minimum requirement of 28 players to move forward with this camp, if the minimum requirement is not met the camp will be rescheduled to a later date. IMPORTANT NOTICE !! Family Viewing Area - Arena Side B Entry Family members entering Arena Side B will only be able to enter arena when the OPEN SIGN IS ON .... Please remain in your vehicles , until the sign is on . ( Max 50 people in family viewing area ... 2 family members per player when team size allows to stay under the 50 capacity ) , if it’s bright day and u can’t see the sign wether .. it’s on or not , please then wait till the zamboni is off the ice . UPDATE! Rustico Power Skating: Correction cost is $135 for 6 sessions also make note that the new start date will be January 30 for 6 weeks ending March 13. Reminder: 2 cohorts of 50 at the rink means that only 50 people per side for 1 ice time. Example: a practice of 1 team of 16, plus 3 coaches plus one contact tracer=20... plus 1 parent per player= 36. Games we will still only have 50 spots total per ice time which means both teams plus coaches and officials.... in most cases there will be very little room left for parents if any. For some rinks there are no parents allowed for games at all so make sure you know ahead. All e...ntrants can enter on their side at 30 min prior to ice time. The side you are assigned to is on northstararena.com . Live stream can be done by a phone or other device. You can create a facebook event, share the event with your team and the opposing team, and make your camera person a cohost. UPDATE: CRC applications are still not being accepted at the RCMP barracks at this time. On January 4th they are expecting an update to whether they will start allowing them or not. Stay tuned!!!

If not completed you will not be able to participate with the group. If you don’t know what you need please contact [email protected]. IMPORTANT REMINDER: Anyone who is volunteering with a team have been given a list of requirements that is needed to be completed by December 31. If these are not completed Hockey PEI will not allow you to participate as team staff. If you are needing the trainers course it will NOT be available to take after December 31. Each team needs a trainer listed (excluding U7) If you are not sure what you need please contact Twyla at [email protected].... UPDATE: RCMP Maypoint office will not be offering CRC services at this moment. Please call ahead of time to see if they are before going in.

Gulf Storm tryout reminder: Gulf Storm Tryout - Online Registration Participants MUST pre-register by October 11, 2020. Due to COVID19, we will need to limit the number of players for each session, so anyone who has not registered by this date will not be permitted to tryout.
