While we are grateful to be back together and back on the ice, we do miss skating in Surrey! #surreykidswanttoplay #dontputapricetagonyouth #SurreySkates We remain hopeful that the #cityofsurrey decides to reopen more ice than planned in the current reopening plan. Our Club Return to Play plan is solid, safe and straight forward to execute, and we are 100% ready to resume full, safe operations in our home rink. Our kids are worth the investment required to open all of our rinks. Active kids are healthy kids. During the Covid pandemic our children have already lost so much of their normal. We hope to return our kids to their home ice and bring back the joy of skating into their lives.

Today should have been our Year End Awards Banquet & AGM. Unfortunately, it's been postponed until fall, but we still want to celebrate our amazing skaters. All of you worked so hard and improved so much. We are proud of each one of you, we miss you, and we can't wait to see you back on the ice when the arenas re-open!

We are working hard to prepare for when skating resumes once the City of Surrey reopens the arenas. The City of Surrey has closed all arenas due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Our spring break practice times are cancelled. We will keep everyone updated via email with information regarding our spring season once we have more information. Our skaters had a fabulous weekend at the Super Series Star Skate Final in Kelowna this past weekend. Congratulations to everyone!

We are so proud of all of the athletes who participate in our Special Olympics program. These skaters represent all levels of skating, from beginners to world champions and everything in between. Whatever level they are at, they constantly inspire us with their hard work, dedication and joy. We are so glad they are a part of our Club!
