North Thompson Fish and Game was happy to Host the Bob Hobbs Memorial long range match this past weekend. 21 competitors from 3 provinces braved the weather and had a ball. Match was shot at 700m over 2 days with challenging conditions. To put it into context, the top 2 shooters kept all 75 shots for score inside a 7 circle @ 700m... That’s some fine shooting! Next match, weather permitting is the Frosty Farky on Oct31/ Nov1. This match is in honour of the later George Farquson who was the founder of F class. He was a long time shooter and resident of Kamloops. This is now a recognized international sport. NTFG is well on its way to being one of the prime competitive locations in BC. North Thompson Fish and Game is hosting an F Class match. Covid 700, Aug 1/2. Match will be shot only @ 700 m. 3 strings of 2 convertible sighters and 15 for score on Sat, 2 on Sunday. Match fees are $60. No lunch or drinks will be provided. COVID rules (social distancing etc,). On Saturday once all strings are done there will be a wild card match. $5 per string, high score in each relay takes the cash. Number of strings will be up to the shooters. Targets will be Shotmarker electronic and Standard ICFRA dimensions. Match is capped @ 40 shooters. Please pre register with Don Piper through our web site. Let’s get out and have some fun.
