At 211, our Community Navigators know asking for help can be hard. We try to understand your situation so we can refer you to community or social services that ...can help with your specific challenges. 211 is a helpline reached by dialling 211, the three digit phone number, in Ontario. We provide info and referrals to Ontario's community, government, health and social services. Text on image: Ten reasons why asking for help can be hard People feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to turn. Feel they will be stigmatized for getting help. Assume there is no help or they are ineligible for help. Confused by maze of services. Reluctant to ask for help from strangers. Worry about getting a loved one in trouble. Talking about personal issues, especially money and relationships are hard. Never had to ask for help before. Do not want to be a burden on loved ones. Have barriers to accessing help (literacy skills, language, physical or other disabilities). Call 211 or 1-877-330-3213 Email [email protected] Chat & search www.211ontario.ca 211 is supported by United Way Centraide and the Government of Ontario Free | Confidential | 24/7 | Live answer
