VIRTUAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (VES) REGISTRATION REMINDER If you would like to move your child from in-school to online learning, please start the process by speaking with the principal. ... Families will need to register by October 23 if they wish their children to make the change on the next available start date of Monday, November 2. Families who wish their children to switch to online classes on Monday, November 30 will need to register between November 2-20. Please note that this process will not occur in December.

What happens when a child becomes ill at school If a student becomes ill at school, parents/guardians are contacted to pick them up and given a letter stating that it is very important to contact their health care provider or COVID Assessment Centre for guidance and follow their recommendations. If COVID testing is not recommended because your primary health care provider has diagnosed that the symptoms are not due to COVID-19, please keep your child home until... symptoms have been resolved for 24 hours If testing is recommended, please take your child for testing and keep them home until the test result is received and symptoms have been resolved.
