The ALC has to create parameters that will allow farmers to diversify their revenue streams in this modern era of farming. Particularly small family operated farms such as on Vancouver Island. If they don't there will be none left. The only people that can afford farm land with no revenue are individuals that build MEGA-mansions. The majority of ALR land parcels are under 20 acres. Hmmm.... I wonder why we are in the situation we are??

Maddie is gonna to be a Momma : ) Maddie is a Great Bernese. Her Dad was a Bernese Mountain Dog and her Mom was a Great Pyrenees. Her pups will be 3/4 Bernese 1/4 Pyrenees.

Our first harvest is getting close............

Our first bowl of salad is here! It is light, buttery, and full of colour! Even the Kale was tasty!! A few mixed bags of salad will be available at the ranch store on friday June the 23rd! Come and get it!
