My Friend Robert Sinding posted this and I copied his comment below as he knows this type of law very well. I know I am on one side of this equation and it is very timely information for everyone to have: Extremely well written primer on non-union lay offs and when employee might be able to sue if laid off -it’s complicated is part of the answer but there is good information here. Usually it won’t be worth it to sue and you won’t get your job back that way - if it’s a lay off under 13 weeks probably best to grin and bear it. You might get paid or some benefits and government may make further legal protections in the coming weeks.

If anyone knows this guy please call Dryden Police Service. DPS wish to question him about several thefts of cell phones, wallets, IPODS and other kids items from our local arena. It is believed person(s) entered the locker rooms while young kids were playing league hockey. The thieves stole everything that wasn't nailed down leaving several children and parents very upset and violated. You can also call Crimestoppers with any information anonymously as well.

Unsafe trucks are less and less the problem. It's more an issue of untrained, unskilled and unprepared drivers hired by companies that simply dont care or cant find drivers with the necessary experience. Insurance rates skyrocket because of accidents. Companies cant afford to insure new younger drivers and qualified drivers are in such short supply. I'm sad over the state of this industry that has given so much to me personally
