Another great day of smiles! We had the pleasure of surprising White Pines Collegiate and Vocational School - WPCVS, Alzheimer Society Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District, Flowers With Flair, Highland Ford Sales Ltd., Pidges Car Wash, and TD Cambrian Mall.

We had a great day delivering smiles today! Our stops included ARCH Hospice(for the amazing staff and a nominated resident), the city of SSM Cemetery staff, The Co-operators, and a wonderful home visit.

Help us deliver some smiles! Today kicks off the first day of smile cookies at Tim Hortons in support of ARCH Hospice and The Twinkie Foundation. Northwood will be selecting a few people and/or businesses from the 14th - 17th to receive a sweet surprise. In light of the new Ontario regulations, our Northwood team is happy to announce more flexibility in the services we are able to provide. While abiding by all safety regulations in capacity, social distancing and sanitization measures we will now be able to accommodate up to 40 guests at one time in our facilities for visitations, services, and celebrations of life. This will also allow families the opportunity to invite the public to attend a visitation period if they wish. ...For families who choose to have this option, all details will be provided to the public in the death announcement which will be located on our funeral home website www.northwoodfuneral.com or on the many local online outlets that publish obituaries. A visitation time can be booked by telephone through the funeral home 705-945-7758. The province has also allowed outdoor funerals and services held on cemetery property to have a maximum of 50 attendees. While things are not quite back to normal, we are happy to welcome our community back into our home and allow families the opportunity to honour their loved one. We will be taking all measures to ensure the safety of the families we serve and our community.
