Dear North Family, I have some exciting announcements to make! As we celebrate the turning of the seasons and our transition into Autumn with this beautiful Equinox week, NORTH celebrates its 5yr Anniversary!!... For a micro business in this climate, we are so super proud of the mark and footprint we have created in our little corner of London. It has been my greatest honour and joy to watch this beautiful space grow and thrive and witness the community build itself up over the years. To see friendships and practices flourish, and healing and happiness take the forefront has been such a joy! After winning award after award every single year, even taking BEST yoga studio in London in our 1st year, and multiple years after that, I have always said the teachers and students Are what make North what it is, and we truly are a FAMILY. Each of our teachers have put their heart and soul into teaching each and every class, and the love and gratitude I have for them is infinite. They are the heartbeat of the studio, and I am so lucky to have them by my side. Also, for ALL the people that have chosen North as their home base for yoga, meditation, workshops and special events for the last 5yrs, thank you!! Your presence and friendship has been so heart filling, I am so grateful. That being said, it is time that I move on, and step away from studio ownership. As of Oct 1, 2020 the space will transition to new owner ship. My gifts and energy are being called in other ways to be of service and my family needs their Mom back, especially with all the uncertainty and change in the world right now. I know this may come as a surprise, but I assure you that the studio is transferring into capable hands. Ai-Linn Chua Henderson, our amazing Osteopathic Practitioner will be assuming the ownership of the lease. She will be renaming and rebranding and you can expect some awesome new additions! The goal is to allow our little community to. continue to grow and THRIVE So, phew...that was a long update, but thanks for reading and stay tuned for upcoming announcements about changes and what to expect. The last yoga classes offered for North will be: Monday Sept 28 9:30am Tuesday Sept 29 6:30pm Thursday Oct 1 9:30am We will not be running yoga classes for the few weeks after that as we transition. Just a little update to showcase the new home of our beloved barn door. This was the portal to healing and love and friendship and a world where nothing else mattered. Where you could just be and just breathe. This door was the gateway and witness to so much magick over the years! So happy to see it in its new home, ready for a new kind of magic!
