Today we're chatting with Sarvenaz Rayati, who recently taught a series of free visual art classes with support from NYA & Cultural Hotspot. Q: Tell us about your work. A: I’m a multidisciplinary artist. I like to tell stories and I use any medium that can help tell the story better. For the past few years, I've been focusing on two projects: Mosaic Stories and the People & Trees installation. ... Q: What's your favourite thing about creating art? A: When I make art, I feel this sense of oneness with life and there is this flow of energy. Q: Tell us a fun fact about yourself! A: One of my favourite things to do is to watch people and their dogs walk by in the street! Q: How can people show support for you and other artists right now? A: I think it could be in any form they like. Following an artist they like on social media, buying their art, commissioning them, donating to their projects, etc!
