Not only a day to honour our veterans but also the animals who courageously stood & worked by their side. Mules carried artillery, horses transported troops & hauled field guns, pigeons delivered messages, cats served as companions & kept ships free of vermin & dogs as messengers, bomb detectors, search & rescue and more.
