Get ready!!! Clinic is FULL- will start a wait list! Clinic will run pending covid restrictions.... We are thrilled to welcome Betsy Macfarlane, horsemanship and speed event coach, trainer, clinician and competitor! Betsy will share valuable horsemanship concepts and strategies that improve the rider’s ability to jockey their horse with precision. She helps riders learn how to be more aware and present in the saddle, and how to think like a horse to make riding and training simple and effective. She explains the fundamentals required to create a fast, accurate turn, but also addresses common problems that may cost a rider valuable time and how to overcome them. She will work with each rider on their specific goals and share effective mental strategies to create a mindset geared for success. This clinic will cover horsemanship fundamentals, tack and fit assessment, rider body awareness, conditioning (for both horse and rider!), barrel racing and Pole Bending pattern. Cost is $365 per person for two days (Friday night individual horse and rider history/assessments optional, Saturday fundamentals and dry work, Sunday will be patterns). The clinic is designed to be progressive. We have 5 spots available. Betsy is a 3 x Congress Champion with over 25 years of successful competitive experience in both speed events and western performance. Pizza Lunch will be included both days. Providing how the weather is, we might be able to have trailers parked for the weekend, if not we have stalls available for rent for the weekend if desired. A $100 non refundable deposit is required to hold your spot! If something comes up, horse is injured or cannot attend please PM Nicole to discuss further options. Please send your deposit or full payment to [email protected]
