Do you like art?? Ya we thought you might..so do we! Especially if it's of ice climbing ;) Mikayla Haynes will be selling prints of these two pieces at the Nip...igon Ice Fest, and has even donated a matted print of Icebreakers as a prize in the gear raffle! The first piece features a local climb in Kama Bay, ON named Icebreakers, while the second piece features a climb in Cascade River State Park just South of Grand Marais, MN. These two pieces are part of an 18 piece collection titled Waking Winter that features winter landscapes and activities we can do to thrive in the cold months. Mikayla is a Duluth, MN based artist and ice climber. She was inspired to paint ice climbs and other winter scenes because of the joy she feels when on winter adventures, big or small.
