Today wrapped up SK Catholic Education Week with the theme "Marvelling in Wonder". Some classes transferred their caterpillars into new containers, to now watch and wait to see the wonder that will occur. This morning the school gathered outside to say a Living Rosary, as the candle was moved to each bead on the rosary. It was a special event as all staff and students were able to pray together, marvelling in the beautiful, warm morning sun. At the end of the day, everyone received a thoughtful bag of treats to remember this special week. PART 2 - What a fun week we had with our Winter Carnival theme! Today's spirit day was to wear Canada clothing, sports jerseys, or colours of the Olympic rings. Classes again completed art projects, writing assignments, wrote winter prayers, did winter/Olympic sports videos in PE, and had fun playing outside.
