Hello Dragon Families and Happy New Year! We are looking forward to supporting your children this coming week through a distance education model. Students are expected to begin synchronous learning on Tuesday Jan. 5th, 2021; however, teachers will connect with students through the Google platform on Monday Jan. 4th. Notre Dame School is looking to once again offer the Rainbows program to our students. Notre Dame School is looking to once again offer the Rainbows program to our students. Rainbows is a 12 week group that helps students share their feelings and thoughts with other kids their age through workbook journals, activities, games and stories designed to express and move through their grief. Rainbows is open to students who have been through a life transition; whether it be a separation from parents, divorce, death, foster care, or other family change that they are... needing to process. Rainbows has been a part of BGCDSB for over 30 years, and is facilitated by trained staff members of Notre Dame. * At this point, we are looking for students who would be interested in joining a group, if this was possible under the COVID restrictions. We are gathering numbers and seeing what is safely possible while continuing to social distance and stay in class cohorts. We will be in contact if this is possible, and your child will be part of a group. Thank you for understanding that we may have limitations.
