Just arrived at all 3 locations of Nottingham Cigars & Pipes " The Drew Estate Undercrown Sun Grown Robusto. Cigar Dojo's 2017 Cigar of the Year, Undercrown Sun Grown Robusto has arrived at all 3 locations of Nottingham Cigars & Pipes Cigar Dojo noted of the Undercrown Sun Grown, Rather than simply slap the nearest Sungrown leaf on an existing blend and call it good, Drew Estate took their time to develop a unique experience from the ground up. Staying true to the Undercrown... line’s roots, the Sun Grown makes use of the Stalk Cut/Cured leaf made famous by the Liga Privada T52 (used as the Sun Grown’s binder component). This is balanced by an all-Nicaraguan filler recipe and the cigar’s highlight is usage of an Ecuadorian Sumatra Sun Grown wrapper. Undercrown Sun Grown begins smooth and mellow, eventually ramping up to include an assortment of cabinet spices, squash, and mineral (like the smell of rain), brought to a harmonious balance with sweeter flavors of pumpkin spice, cinnamon , graham cracker, and the cigar’s it factor flavor concoction of butter/toffee/salt. In our experience, this is easily the most enjoyable blend in the Undercrown line (excluding the legendary DOGMA), as well as perhaps the most unique profile in all of Drew Estate’s impressive portfolio. The Undercrown Sun Grown features an Ecuadorian Sumatra seed, Sun Grown wrapper. The binder is a Connecticut River Valley Stalk Cut/Cured Sun Grown Habano, complimenting a powerhouse blend of Nicaraguan premium fillers. One leaf of extensively aged Ligero from the Nueva Segovia region along the border of Honduras has been selected to enhance the strength of the blend. See more

THE PRENSADO LOST ART Nowadays, it seems production trumps artistry. In premium cigars, though, artisans still produce everything by hand- a process that hasn’t changed in hundreds of years. I get nostalgic about the days when a large majority of products were made with care, by hand. Prensado Lost Art pays homage to those times. Every Prensado Lost Art is traditionally rolled entubado- with each filler leaf rolled for perfect air flow. The cigars are semi-pressed and finished with a traditional triple cap.

Delayed Partagás Maduro Size Finally Arrives, Partagas Linea Maduro No. 3) now available at Nottingham Cigars & Pipes. It’s been well over a year since Habanos S.A. announced the two new sizes of the Partagás Linea Maduro. ( No. 2 & No. 3 )... It all began with the Partagas Linea Maduro No. 1 which first appeared in stores back in late 2015. One of the two new sizes of the dark Cuban cigar has finally made their official commercial release in limited quantities into Canada. Only available at LCDH and Habanos Specialist currently. Please allow me to introduce "Partagas Linea Maduro No. 3, a straight -sided cigar of 5 3/4 by 50." The cigar is an extension of the Partagás Linea Maduro No. 1, which first appeared in stores back in 2015 at 5 1/8 inches by 52 ring gauge. Then, in 2018, Habanos gave an advanced preview of the new sizes at its annual Habanos Festival: the Maduro No. 2, a short pyramid measuring 4 3/4 by 55, and the Maduro No. 3, a straight-sided cigar of 5 3/4 by 50. The Maduro No. 2, a short pyramid measuring 4 3/4 by 55 has still to arrive. It’s taken quite some time for these cigars to go from Habanos Festival in 2018 to LCDH/ Habanos Specialist in the Canadian market place. Supply of Partagas Linea Maduro No. 3 is very limited, So please try them before they sell out.

H. UPMANN PROPIOS EDICIÓN LIMITADA 2018 RELEASED The H. Upmann Propios has finally been released. While Habanos S.A. has typically released Edición Limitadas in the year they are announced, the smaller H. Upmann never arrived last year.... H. Upmann Propios began shipping to La Casa del Habano stores in the country last week and are now available in limited Quantities at your Favorite Habanos Specialist NOTTINGHAM CIGARS & PIPES. ( 3 Locations in Greater Edmonton Area.) It’s very small for an Edición Limitada, measuring 4 3/4 x 46. The other two Edición Limitadas both shipped last year. The Romeo y Julieta Tacos shipped in September, while the Bolívar Soberanos was released in November.
