Meet The Harvest Project. Harvest Project reaches out to people across Metro-Vancouver’s North Shore challenged by family break-down, illness, job loss and pov...erty. They provide client-care coaching and counsel, the North Shore's Rent Bank, and grocery support. They impact the community by breaking the poverty cycle; restoring people to healthier lives. Each month, Harvest Project comes alongside hundreds of individuals and families who face serious life-crises. Before COVID, Nourish Market Lynn Valley donated all sorts of food to the Harvest Project. That had to stop when we all began making efforts to flatten the curve. Now, Harvest Project is taking financial donations that they turn into Grocery Gift Cards. It’s a win because the gift cards mean families in need have less stigma-they are just shopping with a gift card! Nourish Market and myself are teaming up to raise funds for The Harvest Project’s Grocery Gift Card program (Nourish Gift Card anybody?)!
