Unfortunately due to orange zone restrictions we are not permitted to perform services which require the removal of your mask, including facials, makeup, lip and chin waxing. But we hope to be able to do those very soon! We have been quietly (but very busily) contacting guests with appointments postponed during the lockdown (guests whom we are able to schedule right now) and... now we are ready to open our schedule for every one else. As this shopping season comes to an end and we pause for the next 28 days, we are grateful for one another. And we are so very thankful for your support. We truly appreciate your business, your loyalty, trust, and above all else love for what we do. We appreciate your friendship, patience, and given all of the choices you have, you choose us.... As our last Christmas shopping day comes to an end we will be pausing our services for at least 28 days due to the lockdown. But we aren’t sad. We will miss you, but we have worked really really hard and feel that this pause is a blessing and is a wonderful opportunity for us to spend time with our families. This is hard. Really really hard, but we have made a decision that, although may not be popular amongst those that live in other communities, we feel it is the best decision in order to protect our staff, our families, our guests and our own local community. This week was hard. I really struggled with the pivot to virtual school, being home with my kids and balancing it with work, and my stress showed up in a small breakout on my chin . #lovely This evening I poured myself a cup of tea and gave my skin some love. # ? I am proud to tell you that it means no changes for us . Since we reopened on June 22 we have always followed ALL public health and workplace safety guidelines and recommendations, and in many cases we have even gone above and beyond those recommendations. It’s your assurance that we keep your safety and that of our staff and families, at the highest of everything we do. This includes triple COVID ...screening all of our guests: once before your appointment, at the door via self-assessment poster and once more prior to entry. Public Health has promoted limiting interior capacity according to square footage in personal service settings in order to manage physical distancing, and because Nourish reaches our capacity cap most of the time, we are particularly adherent to these restrictions. This is one reason why we keep our door locked and do not permit walk-ins. We also aren’t able to triple screen walk-ins and we aren’t willing to compromise the safety of the guests in our care by being lenient about entry . Our staff are diligent about self-screening every day before their shift begins and refrain from working if they exhibit any symptoms listed on the questionnaire. Sometimes this will mean having to adjust our schedules to move you to a different Nourisher or change your appointment to another day. But we do this out of love and commitment to you all. We agree that it is frustrating though. But it is necessary. Want to learn about more of the ways that we keep you safe?
