Looking to build some momentum in 2021? I'm here to support you as you build lasting habits around health & nutrition through my Love Your Healthy Self nutrition program starting January 18th! This IS NOT a weight loss program nor is it the focus of what we're going to be working on over the next few weeks. We'll be focusing on discovering the foods and lifestyle practices that make you feel your very best- no more bloating after meals, no more mid afternoon energy c...rashes, no more restrictive calorie counting, and no more fighting with your body. http://caitliniles.ca/nutritionchallenge/ This program brings in my favourite parts of community-building & support. It includes: Weekly cooking tutorials Live weekly yin yoga classes Live meditation and intention setting sessions Live Q & A sessions to make sure you are support from every angle to build sustainable health habits. We are going to explore the concept of accepting and supporting yourself just as you are, while learning kitchen skills, stress management techniques, and self-care habits to build upon for the rest of your life in a supportive community setting. If you're interested in learning more click through the link below, pop me a PM, or email me at [email protected] As always, thank you for your support http://caitliniles.ca/nutritionchallenge/

I ran the Love Your Healthy Self Nutrition Program back in July and without a doubt, the connections and support we offered one another was the highlight! http://caitliniles.ca/nutritionchallenge/ If you are looking for accountability, cheerleaders, inspiration, and practical support for building lasting health habits then this may be perfect for you! ... We start next Monday, January 18th- but will be having a livestream meditation Sunday evening to kick off! You'll get 4 weeks of daily emails, weekly cooking tutorials, tons of recipes, healthy eating guidelines, and so so much more! You'll leave the program with the skills and knowledge to choose the foods that make you feel your best, to create healthy meals from scratch, and lots of little self-care practices to support your physical and mental health. If you're interested in learning more or signing up check out the details here: http://caitliniles.ca/nutritionchallenge/

I'm making a riff of this for Christmas morning. I'm gonna prep it the night before so I can just slide it right in the oven. It's super customizable. I'm going to use: caramelized onions & garlic, spinach, bacon, goat's cheese, and peppers: http://bit.ly/smoked-salmon-frittata

Access to nourishing foods that support health on a cellular level shouldn't be limited to certain demographics. Focusing on food security on a grassroots level is a great way to start to effect change in your town/city/neighbourhood to ensure everyone has the same access to foods that support their bodies. https://www.mindbodygreen.com//wellness-trends-2021-food-s

To support my mental health this winter (and to make my home cozier) I'm trying to fill it with as many plants as possible. This cool trick looks like an awesome way to bring the jungle into your home without drilling into the ceiling. And it's great for those of us with kitties who love to "hunt" leaves

A great article from Your Fat Friend. about the war against children's bodies and mental health: "The war on childhood obesity reached its zenith with the 2010 introduction of the national Let’s Move! campaign, 'dedicated to solving the problem of obesity within a generation.' It was a campaign against childhood obesity not specific health conditions or the behaviors that may contribute to those health conditions. ... It wasn’t a campaign against foods with little nutritional value, or against the unchecked poverty that called for such low-cost, shelf-stable foods. It was a campaign against a body type specifically, children’s body types."

I'm taking a little break from all things food and stretchy yoga today to share an amazingly magical course I took with a friend, client, and amazing business coach Maggie Giele Digital Strategy! I know quite a few of you are small business owners, so this one is for you: http://bit.ly/microlaunch-method I took this program back in May/June and it was such a game-changer in terms of how I market and share my online programs and courses. I saw a 3 fold return on my investment ...and got invited to host other private events based on the visibility I gained over the Micro-Launch period. And the best thing is that you can revisit the information over and over again for any course, event, digital project, book, etc. that you want to share. Maggie is a total wizard at laying out the steps clearly and effectively so you never feel overwhelmed. There's so much I could say about how awesome Maggie and this program is, but I should probably cut off my ramblings now. If you have any questions about the course, feel free to pop me a message

Scarily, I've been seeing these "pastel" Q-anon theories cropping up all over the wellness community from (mostly) white practitioners. The photos and videos I've seen of anti-mask, "freedom" rallies are also almost entirely white people, which begs the question: what are you really protesting against? And what circumstances in your life give you the privilege to do so? If you're interested in how QAnon theories have infiltrated (mostly) white wellness spaces, I highly recommend checking out the Conspirituality Podcast. "Yoga teachers have popularized the statement "we are all one," but unless we actually take actions to make this a reality, it becomes an empty slogan and a part of spiritual bypassing, which causes direct harm by dismissing the discrimination of those who are marginalized and oppressed."
