Meet our new fur-iend Walter the Australian Shepherd -Double Merle He was the last of the litter and no one had wanted to buy him. Being deaf and slightly visually impaired (which is very common with Double Merle’s) made him at risk of being put down or left in a shelter. His lucky owners quickly came to his rescue and he was given to them for free because no one wanted him. He has now found his forever home and has become a huge part of their family So many dogs like Walter are not given the chance to be a part of someone's family because of the lack of education about Double Merle's and dogs with special needs. They are the same as any other dog and bring just as much happiness to life as any dog would.
