Covid-19 and Music: Did you know? This year’s annual Canadian Music Competition (CMC) was transformed into a non-competitive and virtual event. It was divided into 4 sections across the country, and our division was Québec & the Maritimes. While non-competitive, it was understood that there would be a favourite selected by the CMC Evaluation Committee in each age group for each Canadian region. So much stunning music from these talented young artists, including 3 talented ...musicians who regularly participate in our NS Kiwanis Music Festival: Jenny Chen (Piano), Kaden Shen (Piano) and Alex Yang (Violin and Piano)! And - Alex won Favourite in the 11-14 age group for the Québec & Maritimes Division! Congratulations, Alex! Jenny, Kaden and Alex - thank you for sharing your gifts with all of Canada!
