This is an exciting time for NSSBA. NSSBA has been involved in an extensive search for a new Executive Director. A thorough process was undertaken directed by an ad hoc hiring committee comprised of the executive of NSSBA and the two committee chairs. Interviews for the position were conducted by the full board of directors. The board of directors met last evening and unanimously approved a motion to hire the new Executive Director. We are very pleased to announce that Nancy Pynch-Worthylake will be assuming the position of Executive Director on January 1, 2015. We want to welcome Nancy Pynch-Worthylake to our provincial organization. She brings extensive experience and knowledge to the NSSBA at a time when public education is undergoing extensive revitalization.
