The 3rd IBTF Grand Prix competition will be held August 8-11, 2019 in historic Limoges, France. TENTATIVE SCHEDULE August 8 Opening Ceremony... August 9 Majorette Group disciplines Duet preliminary round August 10 Team, Solo, 2-Baton preliminary rounds Solo, 2-Baton semi-final rounds (if necessary) August 11 Duet, 2-Baton, Solo, Team final rounds Awards Ceremony Closing Ceremony This competition will bring the best twirlers from around the world together to compete in Solo, 2-Baton, Duet and Team events. The 2019 competition will also include a Majorette Group competition that will bring together majorettes from all organizations around the world. We are sending all our best wishes and good luck to Alyssa Larade as she prepares to represent Canada (and Nova Scotia!) in the Women’s Freestyle at the WBTF World Championships in Florida. Alyssa has put YEARS of hard work, dedication and passion into her training and we couldn’t be prouder to see it payoff for her as she gets to take the floor at one of Baton Twirling’s most elite competitions! The official WBTF Compulsory Set drawing is scheduled for May 1 and we will announce those results as soon as we have them. Some of our provinces have their Tea...m Trials scheduled before that May 1 date. Technical Chair Dana Peteleski has established a protocol for Provincial Team Trials, the National Team Trials and the Canadian Winner/Championships.
