Are you looking for motivation or a challenge to keep you moving ??!! @novemberprojectto, let’s take on a version of #RunDestober !! @des_linden - 2018 Boston Marathon Champ and 2x US Olympian is taking October by storm !... She’s posted what she’s doing for #RunDestober on her IG, but here are some other ways she suggested we could participate in this challenge! 1. Swap the miles for km (add one km for each day - Oct 2 = 2k, Oct 3 = 3k, etc) 2. Swap the miles/km for minutes 3. Get a team together and share the daily miles/km to get the daily goals 4. Commit to doing 31 days of running in a row - not worrying about distance or time 5. Swap the running for a different physical activity - bike ride, core routine, push-ups, yoga ... Basically, let’s do something every day for October ! We’ll motivate each other and tackle this big challenge ! Who’s with us ??!! Let us know below. This Kool Kat (finally!) got the Positivity Award this morning!!! (It was technically given to her in August!) From her first NP workout where she showed up and committed to enthusiastically joining the social that same night, to now being on the Social Committee for the past year, @kjseton1991 has provided a constant dedication to NP! She is a whiz at making trivia, minute to win it games, and providing commentary to drink-pong matches. Katherine always shows up with a smile... to each workout and continues to push through with a positive attitude. We thank you Katherine, for continually showing up! ZOOM PR DAY WORKOUT:... 8min of working out, 2min break x 4 Complete the following exercises, starting with 20 reps, then 19 reps, 18 reps, etc. After the first set of reps (ie 20 reps) complete 1 burpee, after the second set of reps (ie 19 reps), do 2 burpees, the 18 reps, 3 burpees, etc Exercises Side lunges Russian twists Push ups In and outs Mountain climbers Start each 8min set where you left off in the previous set!
