Jaw pain, headaches, tooth ache, neck pain, ear pain... all can be caused by TMJ (temporomandibular joint- the hinge part of your jaw!) . One side effect of mask wearing has been an increase in ear pain and jaw complaints. I found out as I was posting this every therapist likes treating the jaw at our clinic I always thought I was the weird one for enjoying working on jaw and face but turns out every therapist at our clinic was like ohhhhh I love the jaw!!! . So yes, if you’re having pain in that area, or if your dentist says you grind your teeth, we ALL would love to help you!

I’ve been pushing Christmas music and decor for the last 2 weeks but it’s officially that time of year that no one can complain . We wanted to support the community for Christmas this year and we were trying to sort out where the need is greatest. We’ve decided we are going to be taking donations for the Langley food bank up until December 23. . I’ll have a box and will post the items the food bank is requesting. For every item donated by a patient, you will get an entry f...or our Christmas draw. . Christmas draw will include a 200 credit to Novo, some sweet merch, and some other goodies that will be revealed each week! . Happy December everyone!!!! See more

Limber up folks! We have noticed a steady trend of people feeling the blah of winter and our current pandemic. . I’ve been trying to figure out how we can do run club safely and we are so close!! We are nailing down a few details and hoping to have the program laid out in a couple weeks. For now, who’s ready to run . This is ABSOLUTELY for all levels (my favourites are beginners) and we will eventually build to a 5km distance. We will post virtually each week so if you wa...nt to follow along without showing up you are more then welcome to! . I love doing this for our community and I’ve always done it free of charge.... but I’m thinking we might charge a donation fee to a charity this time around. Time for you guys to officially meet Stephanie, our newest RMT! . Her favourite hobbies are running, tennis and golf. She has the hands of a master sculptor and some polarizing opinions on bacon and sushi (she doesn’t like them). . We take it seriously who we bring on and once again we have a passionate practitioner who loves what she does ... . She’s working Tues and Thursday evenings and SATURDAYS and we are so excited to have her on the team!!! See more

Do we work with kids?? YES! And we absolutely love to. . Treatment is usually movement based, and we work on making it really fun for everyone involved. Actually- it’s not that different from how we treat adults, just less of me making them lift heavy things . . Some of the most common things we see are heel and knee pain with growing kids, but we can help with any issue from toddler to teenager.... . Any questions just comment or DM us See more

That’s a wrap on our first week in our new forever home. I’ve said a few times that it felt like I was running a marathon and I collapsed on the last mile... this couldn’t have been done without @meredith.barbour.dc @jessicaedmistonrmt and @joanne_cloverdale_rmt (and their partners) dragging me over the finish line. The girls took care of literally everything they could for me on the 2 days leading up to opening. They gave up all their spare time to paint, move, hang, and cle...an. I can’t thank you girls and your people enough. The heart and soul of our little clinic is the desire to help and heal and you guys fully did that for me . My lovely sister and clinic manager did her best to make sure I had food and coffee and dealt with all the things she could so I could focus (she also put up with the worst versions of me and still loves me). Caleb literally, did not sleep. Him and I worked through a few nights with no sleep and he continued to work his full time job while managing a million things to make this happen. I also want to give a special shout out to my bro @tjpriestly who orchestrated a beautiful front desk being made for us . To our patients: your excitement at the space and your cards, gifts, words, referrals blew us away opening day was the very best because of all of you. We want this to be a community space for healing and activity, and to see you all get so excited makes me think we are well on our way to that . This post is already longer than I wanted, and to be honest I’m still burnt out and exhausted... but we are just so excited and I couldn’t not say how grateful we are to serve this community.
