These old stairs got replaced with some rough cut fir, one of my favourite woods to work with! Always nice to work with some real and strong timbers #builtstrong #builttolast #ilovetrimheads #vancouvercontractors #outwiththeoldinwiththenew
This was a commercial space that got a little spruce up with new floor and kitchen a few months ago, it was my first experience working on a commercial building, on my own. Needless to say it was a good learning experience, with a few more than ‘normal’ trips to the hardware store #learningcurves #selflevellingshitshow #nightworking #steeldoorjambs #learningthebusiness #vancouvercontractors
Had a few timber and post replacement jobs lately ! I enjoy these jobs, as they are usually quick, painless, and fun. Especially when the weather is as beautiful as we’ve been seeing lately contact about any post or timber replacements #vancouvercontractors #westvancouver #beautifulviews #septemberglow
When I first moved to the coast almost 3 years ago, this was my very first Reno job on my own or subcontracting. Although I had not started my small business but I was ready for anything! Using red cedar planks for soffit and shou sugi ban or burnt cedar for the siding was a fun introduction to the quality standard in some neighbourhoods! #eastvan #renovations #finefinishing #carpentry
All about creating functional space! Custom made this bbq bench out of a nice slab of western red cedar for the back of our boat! Can’t wait for summer!dm for inquiries about any sort of custom pieces, I fully enjoy working with wood #liveedgeslab #boatlife #bbqpitmasters

Over the past year and a bit, I was working mostly in the wood boat industry. Let me tell you, I was apart of some AMAZING projects. Mind-boggled and inspired at the same time , I was able to construct things I never thought possible. Working with some of the most exotic woods on the planet, cutting/planing curved-compound-rolling bevels, and use of some very diverse power and hand tools are just a couple of the experiences I’ll hold with me forever! #woodboats #shipwrightskills
Since starting my small business a few months ago, I’ve taken on a variety of projects. Learning to trust the process, but also push myself to be a better entrepreneur has been eye opening and tough at the same time! Having to refine and mould my skills to do new things is exhilarating and I’m excited to see what’s in store for the future ! #carpenter #eyesopen #vancouverstyle
