It’s been a tough year for all human beings in the whole world . 2020 taught me that we’re all connected in a beautiful network and what happens to you affect me. I learned a lot about myself. I’m grateful for that. My resolution for 2021 More books Definitely more hugs... More laughter More long walks More Creating More fun, love and sunsets Wishing you new year’s resolution include more massages
#selfcare Sunday 1. Shift Your Mindset. Think of Sundays like the first day of the week. It really takes the edge and pressure off of Mondays.... 2. Meal Prep. By preparing most of your meals in advance you are also saving a ton of $$. Need I say more? 3. Plan Your Week. Sundays are great for catching up with your favorite planner and getting your to-do’s in order. For me however, it’s nice to get your most important tasks down on paper using a good old fashioned pen. 4. Practice Self-Care. It might be a warm bubble bath (put Enya on why don’t you?), meditation, reading, a long walk listening to your favorite podcast or going out with your hubby or best friend for dinner. Whatever self-care is for you, do it every Sunday (preferably a little every day). 5. Clean Your Space. You’re bound to be happier and feel more productive if your environment and space is clutter-free. You don’t need to go all Monica Gellar and clean every single corner of your home, but a little goes a long way. 6. Unwind & Relax. My favorite thing to do during my downtime is to eat chocolate (alternatively something a little healthier, but come on it’s the weekend), go for a walk, journal or watch my all-time favorite sitcom, FRIENDS (you guessed). Monday here I go!
Cupping therapy. Think of it kind of like getting a massage in reverse. Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy that’s based on the belief that certain health problems can be caused by stagnant blood and a poor energy flow through your body. I love to use cupping to complement my massage to help me increases blood circulation to the area where cups are placed, relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.
Ikigai. In Japan, millions of people have ikigai (pronounced Ick-ee-guy) a reason to jump out of bed each morning. How to find your ikigai 1. Stay active and don’t retire... 2. Leave urgency behind and adopt a slower pace of life 3. Only eat until you are 80 per cent full 4. Surround yourself with good friends 5. Get in shape through daily, gentle exercise 6. Smile and acknowledge people around you 7. Reconnect with nature 8. Give thanks to anything that brightens our day and makes us feel alive. 9. Live in the moment 10. Follow your ikigai What’s your reason for getting up in the morning?.
Happy Wednesday you guys. It is a snowy day.
Same way you prep your meal for the week, prep your intention.
