Today is the first day of Black History Month a time to celebrate the contributions of Black Canadians throughout our country’s history. And to reflect on the injustices that Black Canadians have faced and still face today. We need to do more and do better. This month let’s recommit to ending systemic discrimination and to ensuring Black voices are elevated.
