Dear friends, Nowruz Project and its partners would like to announce the official cancellation of their upcoming events from March 19 to March 22, 2020. Considering the recent alerts from the Quebec government relating to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic situation, all of the Nowruz Project events are postponed for the health and safety of our guests and our team. Hopefully, these days will pass and pass soon.

Agirê Newrozê dance performance is a celebration of the ancient Newroz holiday with readapted traditional folk dances on stage for a dramatic narration, jumping over the bonfire with joy and peace, dancing govend to strans, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and freedom over oppression honoring Kurds’ own long struggle for freedom and justice.
