Please read this article and become informed about the next steps in this Appeals Process against the Province of Nova Scotia. The Appeal focuses on: 1) The right to equality - people have the right to meaningful access to social assistance and services. 2) Segregation is discrimination - The Province is discrimination against people with disabilities by unnecessarily institutionalizing them. The appeals will be heard on November 18 and 19.
