PUBLIC SERVICE APOLOGY Hello Everyone, Coming from the entire NSA Crew, we are deeply sorry for all the inconveniences we caused you all yesterday. As many o...f you know, this is our first time doing this and we must confess, it was quite a difficult task to pull through. Nonetheless, we understand we had no right to keep anyone waiting. We learnt our lesson the hard way and we will do anything within our power to ensure that the lateness never repeats itself. Once again we are apologising to you all and we hope you find a place in your heart to forgive us and empathise with us in this difficult time. Lastly, we would also like to say a very big thank you to everyone who showed up yesterday at any time. It was a great honour having you all there to celebrate with us. PRESIDENT FATIMA IBRAHIM Hello, My name is Fatima Ibrahim. I am an SFU student majoring in Economics. I would like to be an Economic Analyst upon graduation. This career path requires careful study of people’s finances and helping them allocate them properly in order to achieve their desired goals. It combines a few of the things I enjoy most; economics, analysing and organising. Some people call me a control freak as a result of my need to organize and analyze everything. I ...like to play out possible scenarios in my head with as many realistic assumptions as possible so as to determine what the best option could be. These are a few of the characteristics that make a suitable candidate for the NSA president position. Another thing I enjoy is bringing people together. It gives me the joy to be able to put a smile on a person's face. One of the easiest ways of doing that, I have come to realise, is to have people come together in a relaxing atmosphere. A few of the events we have planned for the NSA are; barbecues/picnics, banquets and parties. I would strive to bring as many students together as possible.
