We are now serving Parsell Vineyard wines from the Saanich Peninsula. We are always looking for ways to source ingredients and products that not only taste good, but do good as well, and the people behind Parsell wines share the same philosophy. All Parsell wines are made from grapes grown without pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or chemical fertilizers. They are also unfined, unfiltered, and additive-free. We love serving Lebanese food because it's healthy, hearty and absolutely delicious, but we also love it because there are so many options for our plant-based friends. From our Najib's Special to tabbouleh to hummus, there are so many plant-based options baked into this ancient cuisine.

Our hummus is unique, not just because we use a tried and true recipe, but because we use chickpeas that you can only get in Oaxaca, Mexico. It's important to us that we find ingredients that not only taste good but do good, which is why we use non-GMO chickpeas grown by Indigenous farmers in Oaxaca, Mexico. By buying from these small family farms, we are not only serving amazing tasting chickpeas, but we are also helping small family farmers to continue to grow their crops the way they have for hundreds of years. Think about that next time you order our hummus to go!

Arak is a Lebanese liqueur made from grapes, like wine, distilled with aniseed to give it a fennel flavour, much like sambuca. One of Lebanon's best-known wineries, Chateau Musar, makes L'Arak di Musar and we use it in our Beirut Sunset cocktail that's available at our Kitsilano and Yaletown locations. . The Beirut Sunset L'Arak Di Musar, Triple Sec, orange juice, and topped with grenadine.
