Once you receive a filler treatment you'll see immediate results which typically last 9 to 24 months depending on the specific filler used as well as your unique metabolism. Over time Filler is slowly metabolized by the body which is why we recommend follow-up appointments to maintain your desired appearance. ... What are Milia? Milia are small white or yellow bumps on the surface of the skin, usually caused by excess keratin production and a build-up of dead skin cells unable to shed from the surface naturally. Laser tattoo removal is a non-invasive procedure that uses a Q-switched laser device to break down the pigment colours of an unwanted tattoo while causing minimal damage to surrounding tissue. Do you want to achieve smooth, silky, and hairless skin without the trouble of ingrown hairs or painful waxing? Try laser removal. Laser hair removal works by targetting and heating the pigment (melanin) at the root of the hair follicle, instantly and permanently disabling the active-growth hair follicles. This means that the hair during the next growth cycle will come back less frequently and in lesser quantities! Depending on the size of the treated area, between ...6-8 treatments are needed every 6-8 weeks to achieve the desired results, to treat every new hair-growth cycle in the area (but this varies from person to person!). Did you know that chemical peels are great for treating acne? During a chemical peel, multiple layers of a concentrated acid are applied directly to the skin to rapidly exfoliate and resurface the skin in a controlled manner. This process helps to stimulate collagen, reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, discoloration, pore size, congestion, active acne, acne scarring, and uneven skin tone. By ridding the skin of excess oil, bacter...ia, and dead skin cells, pores are less likely to become blocked and lead to acne! Deeper peels can also be performed to reduce the look of acne scars. Results from chemical peels can be noticed after the first treatment, giving the skin a radiant, healthy, and refreshed appearance. Interested in knowing more about chemical peels for treating acne? When it comes to the application of lash extensions, placement is everything! To ensure that your natural lashes maintain their health, Amy Nobert ensures that every single lash extension is placed perfectly. Isolation - If each individual lash isn't separated before the extension is placed, the lashes will clump together. This can cause long-term damage to the natural lash by stunting the growth of lashes coming in and pulling out lashes that aren't finished in their ...hair growth cycle yet. THIS is why it is so important to seek out a Lash Technician with experience and extensive training. Amy has over a decade of experience in lash extension application, so you can feel assured that you're in GREAT hands. See more

It's 2020, and the internet has made us the most educated and aware group of consumers ever. This has led many to seek skincare products that label themselves as natural, organic, and 'chemical-free'. The truth is, no product is in fact chemical-free. Let us explain why. A 'chemical' is defined by the Cambridge English Dictionary as "any basic substance that is used in or produced by a reaction involving changes to atoms or molecules". Chemicals can also be referred... to as elements, compounds, or substances. Everything we interact with on a daily basis can be classified as a chemical, and this is why virtually all skincare products will contain 'chemicals' in one way or another. Companies have used the term 'chemical-free' to trick consumers into believing their products are cleaner, more organic, and thus more superior than the rest. This is not true, and can often sway the consumer away from high-quality, effective skincare. When it comes down to it, individual choice reigns supreme in what you do and do not tolerate for ingredients in your skincare. Don't know where to start with your skincare regimen? We are all guilty of this one! Whether it's an itchy nose, brushing the hair away from our eyes, or resting our chin in our hand at the office, we touch our faces... a lot! Touching your face throughout the day can introduce dirt, oil, and bacteria to your skin - causing clogged pores and breakouts! Here's how you can slowly touch your face less during the day: ... Keep your hands busy! When you feel like you want to touch your face, keep your hands occupied and reach for an object to fidget with instead (like a fidget spinner, stress ball, or just pick up a pen and write!) Change the way you sit at your desk. Avoid putting your elbows on your desk/table that you work at to avoid the urge to rest your chin in your hands. Moisturize your skin. Keep itchiness and dry skin at bay by moisturizing your skin before you go out! How do you keep yourself from touching your face throughout the day? Comment down below! See more

Life happens! We laugh, cry, smile, and grimace, and over time, our skin loses its elasticity, and we begin to see wrinkles and fine lines as a result of the expressions we make every day. Botox and Nuceiva can help reduce these fine lines and wrinkles, but how? Botox and Nuceiva are both injectable treatments that when injected, temporarily relax the targeted facial muscles by blocking the incoming nerve signals! By doing so, this treatment prevents the affected f...acial muscles from moving to their full capacity, thus reducing the look of existing wrinkles, and preventing the formation of fine lines. Botox and Nuceiva treatments usually take 15-30 minutes and you will start to see your results 3-5 days after treatment! Want to know more? Let's talk about preventative Botox treatments. Botox is an injectable treatment whose active ingredient is a toxin produced by a bacterium called Clostridium botulinum. When injected into the surface of the skin, Botox works to weaken the affected facial muscles. This results in limited movement in this area and thus the reduced appearance of existing wrinkles, and the prevention of new wrinkles from being formed in this area! Clients in their 20s and 30s use Botox... to not only treat existing wrinkles, but to also prevent further wrinkles and fine lines. Because there are fewer wrinkles to treat for these clients, they will need fewer Botox treatments to begin with, and as they age. Have questions about preventative botox or would like to know more?
