From dingy & dated, to bright & fresh! This bathroom had layers of barker tile, pine wainscoting, and old drywall. With no bathroom exhaust fan, those multi layers became sponges for mold, mildew and odors. The 47 year old steel tub had seen it share of bums and was time to go! The tub's alcove was disproportionate for the small space. We stripped things back to the studs, centered things up, sealed it and gave it a fresh new look!
A flush, tiled hearth. We cut and removed the engineered hardwood, applied Strata Mat underlayment to keep things secure and low profile. A Schluter T was mitred, fixed and is now "toe-friendly" and practically seamless!
Herringbone subway tile backsplash completed this week. Beautiful traditional esthetic!
Last weeks pergola build. We won't shy away from a fun, "exterior" project! It's an added bonus when the weather is on our side!

A built-in bookshelf unit we completed a couple weeks ago.
