To our beloved community and clients, we just wanted to make it clear that we are not being funded by the government to provide emergency services regarding CERB. We however are here to help if you need to line numbers from a previous return to aide in the application process. We appreciate your patience during this time as we are experiences high call volumes which makes it hard to get through to us as well as emails. We are trying our very best to get back to everyone as fast as possible, we are only 2 people trying to accommodate an entire community. We thank everyone so much for your continued support!

If you are applying for the CERB and you need a line number from your tax return to apply for the My CRA account. We are here to answer your calls, and we will do everything we can to get you the information you need. We are also available by email; [email protected] or [email protected]

Numbers and letters has been keeping up with the recent news and has decided to close to the general public, we will allow one more day for our clients to collect their ROE's and payrolls. Following this we are available via phone and e-mail 250-344-4742 & [email protected] If you need to pick anything up we have a mail slot we can pass your items through should you need it. As far as taxes we can finish them over phone or e-mail and take payment from cred...it cards and e-transfers. We apologize for this inconvenience and though we are taking every precaution possible we don't want to contribute to unnecessary spread or risk the safety of our staff. Thank you for understanding. Update from Numbers and Letters regarding Covid-19: We will remain open from 9am-6pm, however, we are offering an alternative to filing your personal or small business taxes without leaving the comfort of your home. By using E-File, E-Signature, and direct deposit, it is possible for us to complete your taxes remotely. We also have a mail slot located outside our office door for anything you may need to drop off.... This will allow you to send your receipts electronically. Please contact your bookkeeper for more information. Don’t worry about keeping your receipts ever again, take a picture when you purchase and upload it immediately no more shoe boxes full of crumpled up receipts! As the number of fraudulent CRA calls and emails climbs we'd like to again remind everyone that the CRA will ONLY contact you via post services. DO NOT give anyone your personal information as the CRA will NEVER ask for these kinds of things over the phone.

Numbers and Letters is looking for a permanent part-time receptionist/payroll technician, starting October 2nd for 4 hours/day Monday to Friday, until February 1st when it becomes fulltime. (wage is negotiable) *Must be: -Organized -Dependable -Personable... -Comfortable with computers & Microsoft Word/Excel *Required: -payroll experience -experience with accounting software, preferably Sage/Simply Accounting -vehicle *experience with ClientTrack also appreciated but not required *Job Includes: -greeting clients/answering phones/booking appointments -managing ClientTrack -running payroll/printing T4’s & summaries/ROE’s -town run (picking up from clients, checking mailboxes, bank deposits) -keeping office organized Resumes can be submitted in person, faxed (250-344-4752) or emailed ([email protected]). *All resumes must be submitted by Tuesday September 19th at 4:30pm.* For any questions please contact Alysha Clark, 250-344-4742 or [email protected].

If you get an email from the CRA that looks something like this DO NOT FOLLOW INSTRUCTION this is spam if the CRA needs to contact you they will only do it via post, these emails are used to steal identity and money.
