At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, neuroscience student Rowaida Hussein and classmates in her #Dementia class came together to create SAGE (Student Association for Geriatric Empowerment) to help stave off loneliness in seniors. "One resident, whose first language was Mandarin, got on Zoom with a student who also spoke it.
