NEW PROCEDURES AND POLICIES February 24, 2021 - *Absolutely NO person is permitted to attend Nurse Scrap Metal property with any of the following symptoms - NO EXCEPTIONS! *Fever (37.8 deg. or higher) *Dry Cough... *Difficulty Breathing *Travel outside of the Country in the last 14 days *Came into contact with a (confirmed) case of Covid-19 and have not been tested. *Face coverings are required at all times on NSM property, If you refuse to wear a mask, you will not be permitted entry to the yard. *Please use the sanitizer provided by both public entrances when entering and leaving the building. *NO ENTRY through the main gate - Everyone MUST enter through the scale gates regardless of what your reason is for coming in. (This includes the general public, regular customers, drivers and delivery personnel, commercial account holders and such. If you enter the main gate you will be asked to leave the property and enter the correct gate. *Every person (including customers, couriers, delivery personnel, drivers AND our staff) will be screened BEFORE leaving their vehicle - Do NOT get out of your vehicle until you have been directed to by a NSM team member. NO exceptions! *Only 1 person is permitted inside the Office and Non-Ferrous areas of the buildings at a time. DO NOT cross the pylons in Non-Ferrous for ANY reason and please keep a respectable distance from our staff members, inside and out! *At this time we are not helping to unload customer vehicles other than with machinery. Our staff will not be able to be within the required distance to assist you. If a machine is unloading your material, please remain inside your vehicle until they are finished and clear *In closing, please know that we are trying our best to adapt to the new lockdown rules. Things may change as requirements are updated and/or altered. Peterborough Police are asking for help in locating 24 year old Brett Leblanc Brett is a student at Trent University and was last seen late Tuesday night on ca...mpus. Brett is legally blind. He is able to walk without assistance and typically wears black sunglasses. He is male white, 5ft10, 169 lbs, brown medium length hair, thin moustache, wearing white high-top sneakers. KHCAS workers will be provided with the donated and purchased gift cards to assist their clients in choosing the gifts. The end result remains the same, children will be happily unwrapping presents on Christmas morning . For the safety of our staff and volunteers, we are collecting gift cards instead of toys. As always, do NOT exit your vehicle until a staff member has made it to your vehicle to discuss our yard procedures and direct you where to go. Use ONLY the scale entrance when entering the yard - the main gate is for exiting ONLY.
