Hi there! Its been a while since Ive I introduced myself so here we go... My name is Jillian and I am the owner of Nurtured Salon and Spa. Ive been working ...in the beauty industry for over 14 years. Ive worked in many spas mainly in Halifax and the Sydney area. I opened Nurtured in 2016 after I had my 5th baby and felt called to offer the traditional spa treatments in a different way. Ive been observing how so many things in our society are targeted towards convenience and efficiency but in this process often become connection- less. People are feeling isolated, lonely and often go days, weeks, months without receiving human touch. Did you know touch is one of our 3 human needs and without it we fail to thrive? I wanted to create an environment where people can relax, decompress and have no demands put on them. Lots of touch, soothing scents and music where people would receive the beauty service they wanted but also received beautification for their soul. I mustve done something right because people were waiting more then 3 -4 months to see me. I knew it was time to expand. In three years we have grown to a staff of 6 and we have no plans to slow down! Other than meaningful connections I have a strong passion and fascination with skin- Our largest and most neglected organ. I LOVE to help people feel beautiful in their skin and help encourage the skin to function at its healthiest. The main bulk of my treatments focus on skin care and I specialize in some modalities that cant be found anywhere else on the island. I spend all of my free time with my family, traveling when I can and love reading, Jesus and being outdoors. We have 2 stylists and 3 estheticians at Nurtured who cant wait to meet you. Salon services will continue to be offered at the location which you are familiar - 354 Keltic Dr. Upon arrival, please wait outside or in your vehicle. We will call or text when we ...are ready for you. Please arrive at your appointment alone Please don your mask prior to entering the building. If you are unable to provide your own, we do have a small quantity of disposable masks available. Upon entering you will be asked a few screening questions and required to sanitize your hands and phone. Please limit personal items and do not bring in outside food or beverages. If possible please use the restroom prior to arriving for your appointment. Retail products will be available, your service provider will help you with your selections. Rebooking and checkout will be completed in your treatment room or stylists chair. Please be sure to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns!
