We've made the decision to Cancel Curling Tonight (Sunday November 8th) due to the Weather. We've been watching today's weather closely and it doesn't appear that this storm will be ending anytime soon. So for the safety of all of the curlers and staff we believe the best decision that we could make is just have everyone avoid unnecessary travel and stay home this evening. We have called all of the skips to let them know. We ask that you make sure that all of your teammates ...are aware of the cancellation. Thank you for your understanding and assistance. Stay safe.

Our Situation Not For Profit Curling Clubs in Saskatoon have paid Commercial Tax Rates (the same as any for profit business) for years. Previous presentations t...o the City of Saskatoon to address this issue have been met with No Action! Our Proposal Work with the City of Saskatoon to Implement a Zoning that applies specifically to Not For Profit Curling Clubs and a Property Tax Rate that is in line with other Not For Profits like Prairieland Park Our Ask Of You Email Your Candidates & Ask: Are they aware that the 4 Curling Clubs are not currently zoned the same and there is No Zoning Class that applies to Not For Profit Curling Clubs? Are they prepared to offer the Curling Clubs the same "Special Treatment" on Taxes and Zoning as other Not for Profits like Prairieland Park? Considering the Social and Economic Benefits that Curling brings to Saskatoon, are they willing to work with Curling Clubs to Reduce Their Tax Burden?
