Have you been curious about Intuitive Eating after trying every diet under the sun? Intuitive Eating is NOT a diet plan. It's NOT for weight loss. It's NOT a set of rules that you need to follow. Instead, it's made up of 10 principles that are meant to lead you to be more ATTUNED with YOUR OWN body... not with anyone else's. ... Just Imagine. I once heard someone say "women don't have time to take over the world and use their power... they're too busy dieting and exercising." What would you do in your life if you didn't have to worry about what, how much, and when you're eating or your body size and shape? ... Who would you be to yourself and to others? How would your life change? Just Imagine. See more

Seriously, who hasn't said that about their meal time? I was speaking to a client recently who told me that they'll get really hungry in the afternoon, but don't eat a snack "because dinner is coming up soon" and "it's not time to eat yet". The thing is, you're not a robot, my friend. Why are you expecting your body to be a robotic machine? ... With diet culture being so prominent in the media and day-to-day conversations, we often rely on diet rules to let us know when to eat rather than relying on our body's cues. We ask ourselves, "Is it time to eat yet?", "Do I really deserve to eat this?", "Is this too much to eat in one sitting?", and so on. Rebuilding your relationship with food starts with acknowledging your body’s physical needs. Identifying hunger can be a challenge if you never listen to it or have ignored it long enough that you don't even know what your hunger cues are. Everyone will experience hunger cues differently -some examples include but not limited to: gnawing in your throat or stomach, low energy, irritability, headache, stomach pains, or poor attention span. That all said... Honouring your body's physical needs is pretty nuanced. On one end, you need to honour your hunger & fullness cues. On the other, you don't want these cues to become a new diet! So tell me - do you listen to your body's cues or do you eat by the clock? What are your most common hunger cues? - - - If you have no idea what your hunger cues are, DM me and let's get you going with a new tip or two to try. See more

I always thought about this... why did Kloe Kardashian have to create a show calling it the Revenge Body? If she did everything to have this "ideal body" including surgeries, having a chef, a personal trainer, home keeper, nannies, and financial stability all to make it possible... yet millions of little girls, teens, and adults are comparing themselves to that body. Doing all that to get a body society tells you is what's acceptable and attractive, is not revenge... it...'s submission. So please. Just stop. Stop believing what you see on social media to be all true and attainable. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW someone is doing, feeling, struggling, hurting, crying, or slowly dying from their disordered behaviors. Deal? . . Do you need help feeling more comfortable with your food and body?
