A big thank you to Brandy and Sonny Sekhon, who met with director Kathryn Olsen at the newly expanded and renovated ER yesterday, to present a cheque for $20,503 dedicated to pediatric care! The funds were collected during this year's McDonald's McHappy Day; Brandy and Sonny pledged to keep all funds collected local and certainly put a lot of smiles on hospital staff's faces. Thank you!

We are thrilled that the emergency room expansion project came officially to a conclusion yesterday when Minister of Health Adrian Dix was on site for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. We are proud of this project and the community that came together and worked miracles with fundraising. Thank you!

Minister of Health Adrian Dix was on site at the Nicola Valley Health Centre yesterday for the ribbon cutting of the emergency room expansion project. The Nicola Valley Health Care Endowment Foundation is pleased to announce we have exceeded our Fundraising goal to purchase equipment required for the current Emergency Room Expansion Project. All Donations for ER Equipment up to this point will be recognized on our Donor Wall, to be unveiled at the upcoming Grand Opening. (TBA) Our Foundation will continue to gratefully accept donations for future equipment needs in local Healthcare facilities at Nicola Valley Hospital and Healthcare Centre, and Gillis House.
